On Friday, my research group and friends took a trip to Michigan for a spot of skiing at Caberfae peaks.
My Deutsche colleague eagerly approached the black-diamond runs. Me... not so eager but I did get there!
A blizzard had passed over the US just a couple of days beforehand, setting us up for a great day of skiing. The sky even cleared and we had bright sunshine!
Here is a shot south from a cable car.
After lunch, climbing a hill turned out to be a lot of work!
A lamp sprung out of my head as we posed at the top of the mountain. Seriously, a great day out there. Scace, I know what you're on about now! Cheers! (Though I felt as sore the next day as if I'd played three games of rugby!)
